Managing Leads
Leads captured by the intake chatbot (see Using the Intake Chatbot) appear in your Leads inbox for review.
Lead Statuses
Each lead has a status that reflects where it is in your pipeline:
- New — Just captured, awaiting review.
- Contacted — You've reached out to the prospect.
- Qualified — Confirmed as a genuine prospective client.
- Disqualified — Not a fit for your firm (spam, out of scope, etc.).
Reviewing Leads
- Navigate to Leads from the sidebar.
- Click on a lead to view the full intake transcript — this includes the prospect's name, contact details, matter type, urgency, and description.
- All lead data is encrypted at rest and only decrypted when you view it.
Converting a Lead to a Matter
- Open the lead and click Convert to Matter.
- The client details and intake notes are carried over automatically.
- A new matter is created and the lead status is updated.

Disqualifying a Lead
If a lead isn't a fit, mark it as Disqualified. The record is preserved for audit purposes but moves out of your active inbox.
Tips
- Review leads within 24 hours for the best conversion rate.
- Use the Contacted status to track leads you've reached out to but haven't confirmed yet.
- The leads inbox respects your firm's data encryption — only authorised team members can view lead details.
